Marine Management Challenges for the Caribbean UK Territories in the Context of Covid-19
Webinar - 15th June at 2pm
The CIEEM Overseas Territories Special Interest Group (OTSIG) and Marine Conservation Society together with marine practitioners from the UK Overseas Territories have come together to present a webinar about marine management issues in the Caribbean in a post Covid-19 world.
The CIEEM OT SIG is committed to highlighting and enabling the sustainability of biodiversity in the UK Overseas Territories. The Marine Conservation Society (MCS) has been the leading charity in the UK working solely to protect our seas, shores and marine life. Their Caribbean UK Territory programme involves working with local departments and communities on improving management of marine protected areas (MPAs), built on MCS’s strong track-record of developing ocean conservation solutions in this region.
This webinar talk introduces the key issues in marine biodiversity in the Caribbean OT’s and discusses priorities for actions post Covid-19.
