Interreg Europe - Fourth call for projects
The Interreg Europe programme, financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), launched its fourth call for proposals, addressed at interregional cooperation projects. Applicants are invited to submit their project application under one of the specific objectives corresponding to the four priority axes.
- Priority 1: Strengthening research, technological development and innovation
o Improve the implementation of programmes in the field of research and innovation infrastructure and capacities notably in the framework of Smart Specialisation Strategies.
o Supporting the delivery of innovation by players in regional innovation chains in areas of “smart specialisation” and innovation opportunity.
- Priority 2: Enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs
o Supporting SMEs in all stages of their life cycle to develop and achieve growth and engage in innovation.
- Priority 3: Supporting the shift towards a low-carbon economy in all sectors
o Addressing the transition to a low-carbon economy notably in the framework of Smart Specialisation Strategies.
- Priority 4: Protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency
o Improve the implementation of programmes in the field of field of protection and development of natural and cultural heritage.
o Increasing resource-efficiency, green growth and eco-innovation and environmental performance management.
The Call is targeted at public authorities and non-profits. The detailed descriptions of partner eligibility and can be found in the Programme Manual available on the website. Proposals have to be submitted by 22 June 2018.
