Working in a small team of environmental chemists, ecotoxicologists and ecologists, you will be responsible for developing and evaluating a pollutant exposure model to predict the uptake of chemicals from water and sediment into fish, phytoplankton and zooplankton and then the transfer into European shags. The model will operate at high spatial and temporal resolutions and be able to simulate a wide range of pollutants types including persistent organic pollutants, pharmaceuticals, metals and microplastics. The position would therefore suit individuals with an interest in environmental exposure or spatial ecological modelling.
