The position will be part of our well-established research activities on Arctic marine physical and biogeochemical processes. It is funded by the EU-project “The future of Arctic coastal ecosystems - Identifying transitions in fjord systems and adjacent coastal areas” (FACE-IT – https://www.face-it-project.eu/), and by the Norwegian Research Council project “The Nansen Legacy” (http://nansenlegacy.org).

The position is temporary for 3 years and belongs to the Arctic Ocean portfolio. This program consists of a wide range of projects that ensure interdisciplinary environmental management research. You will be employed in Section for Ecotoxicology in our Research Department. The section conducts research on the effects of climate change, pollutants and plastic on biogeochemistry, food webs and species health in Arctic marine regions.

Your work place will be Tromsø, Norway. Some travels may be expected due to visits and collaboration with both national and international project partners.
