Scotland’s Hydro Nation Chair Research & Innovation Programme

The Hydro Nation Chair Research & Innovation Programme provides leadership and collaborative partnerships to deliver solutions for sustainable water management in Scotland. For more information please read our press release.

The University of Stirling will host and lead the £3.5M initiative, funded by Scottish Water and delivered in partnership with the Scottish Funding Council. The programme will develop exemplars of best practice in Scotland that also delivers global impact, supporting Scottish Water to achieve ‘better than net zero’ water utilities.

Working in partnership with other stakeholders is key to building the next generation technologies, innovation and service. We invite you to join us in this discussion and to hear how you can get involved in the opportunities the programme offers.  We are hosting two events:

An introduction to the Hydro Nation Chair Research & Innovation Programme

17th February, 3pm – 4pm

Hear from Scottish Water, on their vision for the programme, Scottish Funding Council, and the University of Stirling who will detail the opportunities for collaboration and  engagement. We will outline the Research Leader fellowships, an open competition to host a fellow (of which four are available); the Hydro Nation crucible and pump priming funding.

Engaging in the Hydro Nation Chair Research & Innovation Programme

3rd March, 3pm – 4pm

This is an opportunity for you to discuss and contribute to the programme, following on from the first event, and to further explore opportunities for involvement and engagement with the programme activities.

We are not limited to the number of attendees so please forward this invitation to others in your organisation that you think may be interested.

To sign up please complete this brief electronic form: Hydro Nation Chair Research & Innovation Programme. If you are unable to attend either or both events, please use this form to indicate if you would like to receive any material (information/recordings) on Hydro Nation post event
