The Marine Alliance for Science and Technology for Scotland (MASTS) has one remaining fully funded 'Prize' Studentship, to be awarded across the Joint Research Themes (JRTs). These prestigious, competitive awards are intended to attract the brightest students from around the world. The research programmes will be supported by experts across Scotland and have unique access to the national marine science infrastructure: including research vessels; instrument development and testing facilities; modern chemical and biological laboratories. Each Prize Studentship will involve prolonged periods of research at more than one partner institution, and will benefit from specialized training and development programmes under the auspices of the MASTS Graduate School. The deadline for the final call for MASTS 'Prize' Studentships is 1st May 2012.
